What is Buy Black Fridays?

Buy Black Fridays is a Movement that we in the minority community are doing to promote the our own Economy. Our agenda is merely to strengthen the Dollars in our community first. Many people have come and tried to institute this type of credo but were not successful enough that it was big enough for our people to at least see the movement working.

Our Goal is NOT to close any other types of businesses by business owners that are NOT in the minority community. We just want to empower our community by spending more of our spendable income at home.

It’s simple:

More money circulating in our community = More jobs

More Jobs = Less Crime

Less Crime = Safer Neighborhoods

Safe Neighborhoods = Higher Property Values

Higher Property Values = Better Schools

Better Schools = Better Educations

Better Education = More money circulating in our community

Get the Idea? With this kind of action, we can clean up our communities and create jobs in our own community. Without a strong community, our children must seek employment from others and build other peoples visions even if those visions are legal yet adverse to us in the minority community. So, there is no one to blame anymore for the state of our communities. We know what we are up against as far as institutional poverty. We can change this if we keep this movement going.

• Better Educations!

1. What do we do?

On Fridays, which is usually our payday, we sacrifice and ONLY patronize businesses in  our community that represent us on that one day. We hopefully will spend with these businesses on every other day but on this day we want to ONLY spend with these businesses.

2. Should I NEVER shop other than businesses that represent me?

That is NOT what we are saying at all. You should pay all your debts no matter who you owe no matter what or whom if you are able. You should shop where you get the best total experience. Of course there are times when you have no choice but to shop outside the community. There is no one else who can provide said service or product. No problem. We just say, give your brother or sister a try, First. Which is the same principle used by other great communities!

We just want to build minority communities to be just as strong as other communities who almost exclusively keep the money circulating there. They understand the science behind that strategy of building strong communities and this principle will work for us too if we use it.

3. Should I do business with a person who has given bad service just because they are a minority business?

Absolutely NOT! We only encourage you to use the best of the minority businesses out here when you are able but especially on Fridays! Can you imagine how this one simple act would effect the minority community Economy? Jobs will come out of nowhere if we are disciplined enough to do this.

Other Communities -

If you go into other communities, you will see that the community is strong because of the economic base and credo which is spend at home first then spend anywhere else. So this is not racism when other communities do this, it is scientific principles of Good Communities. We can also apply these principles to improve our communities.

What have we learned?

1. We can change the poor state of minority communities.

2. We can create jobs in our community.

3. We can end poverty and reduce crime.

4. We can be part of the solution

5. It’s NOT wrong to support minority businesses it is our responsibility.

6. Strong Communities have Strong Economic disciplines like spend at home!

7. We will face opposition, but we must do what we must.

8. Our children are depending on us to make this sacrifice for them!

9. We are NOT saying don’t use other businesses at all, just on Fridays! Save that day for your brother or sister, after you pay your bills.
